- MICROSCOPIC FEATURES: Mycelia linear to rhizomorphic; purple brown haploid spores in mass; tetrapolar basidia; heterothallic; clamp connections present.
- HABITAT: Sub-tropical to tropical species found naturally in manure rich soil or pastures.
- APPEARANCE: Golden brown to chestnut colored cap with fibrillose surface. Thick whited flesh with bluish color in bruising. Partial white veil, membranous with dark brown gills. Stem 8 - 10 inches tall.
