MICROSCOPIC FEATURES: Rhizomorphic to linear mycelia; spores whitish in mass, 5-6.5 x 3-3.5 u, ovoid to oblong ellipsoid; basidia tetrapolar; four haploid spores; heterothallic; hyphal system monomitic; pleurocystidia absent; dikaryons with clamp connections present.
