- HABITAT: Tropical and sub-tropical species naturally found in pastures or soil enriched with manure.
- MICROSCOPIC FEATURES: Rhizomorphic to linear mycelia; spores purple brown in mass; basidia tetrapolar; haploid spores; heterothallic; clamp connections present.
